Kevin’s daughter, Saskia Foley, now leads RADIUS as the CEO & President, officially making RADIUS a certified women owned enterprise. Under her direction RADIUS continues to be a family-run company that’s completely vertically integrated; we design, manufacture on solar powered machines, and inspect all of our own products by hand in our historic headquarters located in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.

    Your product is amazing. I just used the source toothbrush for the first time ever and it was so soft and the extra brushes made my mouth feeling very clean!

    As I am planning my Christmas shopping early this year, I will be getting my whole family a Radius toothbrush!

  2. I bought my first Radius toothbrush (a SCUBA) about 15 years ago. At the time, one of the biggest features touted was that the ends of the individual bristles were rounded (uh, “radiused”?) microscopically by lasers. The idea was that this rounded end would not rupture cell walls on the surface of the gums. Ergo, less bleeding gums. Now nothing is said about that. When did you stop doing that and did you determine that it made no difference in gum care?

    • Hi Paul,

      Thanks for the comment! To answer your question, our bristles are still end rounded so they’re not abrasive against your gums. The only toothbrush of ours that does not have rounded bristles is the Source SuperSoft. Our SuperSoft bristles have tapered ends that allow them to clean deeper around the gumline.

  3. I have been using the Scuba for about 15 years as well. Started with the original Radius, but like the comfort of the Scuba better. Not to mention the fact the head is replaceable. I used to get my refills at WholeFoods in Chattanooga but the stopped carrying them regularly. Recently I saw a picture of a refill with blue down the middle similar to the oral B. Are these new and available as refills only????

    • Hello! Thanks for the comment! Since you use Replacement Heads, I believe your toothbrush of choice is our Source. Our SCUBA is just like the Original but made of recycled rubber and does not have a replacement head. You can always order your Replacement Heads from our website wwww.madebyradius.com. We offer discounts throughout the year and everyday free shipping over $15. In regards to the Replacement Heads with the blue stripe, we have not manufactured heads with a blue stripe in many years but some retailers may still have them in stock or on the shelf since they don’t have an expiration date and can still be used. There was no difference in bristles, the only difference was the color. We eventually decided to manufacture the heads with all white bristles.     • The SCUBA never had replaceable heads. “SCUBA is made from flexible recycled rubber, perfect for harder brushers!” Before the Source, I did formerly use a Radius brush with replaceable heads … it also had a very cool 2 minute timer built into the handle to help me brush longer. I think it was called “Intellibrush” or “Smart Brush” or similar. Now we can buy Source, but, alas the timer is no longer built in.

  4. I received an email saying I could get a free deluxe size sample pack of kids toothbrushes. I do not see a form for this anywhere. Help, please??
